It can be estimated that mango processing yields between 150,000 and 400,000 t of wastes worldwide, which may cause environmental problems in the vicinity of the processing plants. The use of mango wastes in livestock feeding is a way of reducing environmental concerns (Jedele et al., 2003; El-Kholy et al., 2008).
